This book contains transcriptions of the first 300 of approximately 2,100 pages of evidential documents used to prove land ownership in Franklin County, Texas, during the early part of the 20th century. The data includes affidavits, depositions, wills, and other vital documents used to prove a clear title to the family farm. Some of the deponents were from "back home" where the family lived before coming to Texas.
